Brenna Lavin

Brenna Lavin is a Software Engineer at LAIKA Studios since June 2022, having previously held positions as a Junior Software Engineer, Junior Software Developer, and Studio Pipeline Intern at the same company. Prior experience includes working as a Grass Guide at Electric Lettuce, where customer service and cash handling were key responsibilities, and a brief stint as an Art Department Assistant for the series "Shrill!" at Warner Bros. Entertainment. Brenna also gained foundational programming skills as an App Development Intern at Otaku Smoke and Brew LLC, focusing on object-oriented programming and Test Driven Development. Earlier in the career, Brenna held various roles over five years at HOTLIPS Pizza, culminating in the position of General Manager, where management and operational excellence were highlighted. Additional artistic experience includes assisting art departments for several productions, including "Portlandia." Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Intermedia from the Pacific Northwest College of Art and training in software development from Epicodus and Portland Community College.
