Juan Soto

Juan Soto is an accomplished character animator with extensive experience in feature films and short productions. Currently serving as a Character Animator at LAIKA Studios for the feature film "Wild Wood," directed by Travis Knight, Juan previously held the position of Lead Character Animator at SpottedFawn Productions for the short film "Wheetago War," co-produced by the National Film Board of Canada. Notable past roles include character animator at Netflix for "Wendell and Wild," where Juan also performed in a surprise clip, and teaching a character animation workshop at the ANIMARKT Stop Motion Forum. Juan's credits extend to multiple award-winning projects, including "Missing Link," a Golden Globe winner. Educational qualifications include a Technico Superior de Imagen degree from aramo and training at Arts High School Oviedo.
