Sara Spink

Sara Spink is a seasoned professional in the field of animation and digital arts, currently serving as the Lead Character Painter at LAIKA Studios since September 2022. With a robust background in higher education as an Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University from September 2018 to December 2022, Sara taught various courses including Intro to Animation and Digital Painting Techniques. Previous experience includes significant roles at NYU Tisch Art and Public Policy as an Animation Senior Computer Network Technician and at LAIKA, LLC as a Puppet Painter and Rapid Prototype QA. Sara has also gained expertise through internships and educational pursuits, holding a Master's of Fine Arts in Animation and Digital Arts from the University of Southern California and a background in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript from Epicodus.
