Shane Ilagan

Shane Ilagan has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance. Shane began their career at Sunpower Philippines Manufacturing Ltd. in 2007, where they served as an Operations Technician responsible for entering lot cards into the database system and manual creation of solar panels. In 2008, they joined Virtify Philippines Inc. as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where they played a crucial role in testing and ensuring the quality of delivered products. Shane managed scope and requirements provided by clients, supervised task estimation for testers, and provided accurate project SQA task estimation. From 2013 to 2019, Shane worked at Market Force Information, starting as a Quality Assurance Engineer and eventually becoming an SQA Lead. During this time, they gained extensive experience in software quality assurance, contributing to the overall testing process and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products. Currently, Shane is employed at Laivly, where they serve as a Sr. QA Engineer. Starting in 2023, they will assume the role of Software QA Team Lead.

Shane Ilagan pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Batangas. Shane attended this institution from 2001 to 2007.
