Sheila Capistran

Sheila Capistran is the owner of Ada Tomato, a business established in 2001 that specializes in cultivating over 50 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, artichokes, and herbs, providing customized orders for local communities and agricultural trials. Additionally, Sheila serves as CEO, focusing on the propagation of heirloom plants, seed selection, wholesale sales, and educational outreach through tours and workshops. Since 2009, Sheila has also worked as a librarian at Lake Agassiz Regional Library. Previous experience includes serving as a window clerk for the United States Postal Service from 1989 to 2002. Sheila's education includes courses from the University of Minnesota, Harvard EdX, and Minnesota State University Moorhead, alongside earlier studies at Mentor Public.
