Tanya Skinner

Tanya Skinner has extensive work experience in various roles within the camp and education sectors. Tanya started their career in 2007 at Lake Bryn Mawr Camp, where they held multiple positions including Counselor, Group Leader, Leader in Training Director, Senior Camp Division Head, and most recently, Director of Staff Development.

In 2012, Tanya Skinner joined Albuquerque Public Schools as a Teacher and Basketball Coach. Tanya currently holds this position.

From 2004 to 2006, Tanya Skinner worked at the YMCA of Central New Mexico, where they held the roles of Sports Gym Supervisor/Coordinator and Day Camp Director. As the Day Camp Director, they were responsible for creating a fun environment based on the Y's core values, overseeing a camp site facility, and maintaining adequate records.

Tanya Skinner's work experience demonstrates their dedication to the development and well-being of children and their ability to take on increasing levels of responsibility.

Tanya Skinner's education history begins with their high school education at Manzano High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in the year 2002. Following their high school graduation, they attended The University of New Mexico from the year 2002 to 2008, earning a Bachelor's degree in Education. Later on, Tanya pursued further studies at the same university and achieved a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from 2018 to 2020.
