Mark Baumgardner

Mark Baumgardner is a highly experienced fire and emergency services professional with a diverse background in both firefighting and law enforcement aviation. With a tenure at Crown Point Fire Rescue since April 2008, Mark has progressed through various leadership roles including Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, and Water Rescue Commander, alongside serving as a firefighter/paramedic. In addition, Mark has been a Tactical Flight Officer and Rescue Flight Paramedic with the Lake County Sheriff's Department since December 2006, providing air support for law enforcement agencies in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. Mark also contributes as a Senior Consultant for Box Alarm Strategies, LLC, specializing in public safety response and communication systems. With a foundation as an Active Duty Air Force Medic and instructor in Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Mark's expertise spans critical incident response, emergency medical care, and system operations within high-volume public safety environments.
