Leslie Yoo

Leslie Yoo, P.E. currently serves as Principal Engineer at Lake County since July 2024. Prior to this role, Leslie held various positions at VS Engineering, Inc. from July 2017 to June 2024, including Water Resources Project Engineer and Water Resources Design Engineer. Leslie's experience also includes working as Program Manager for Energy Efficiency and Renewables at the Indiana Office of Energy Development from May 2016 to July 2017 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue University from January 2015 to May 2016, focusing on biofuel production from carbon dioxide. Additionally, Leslie interned at the Indiana Office of Energy Development in the summer of 2015, where responsibilities included analyzing data on biomass potential and engaging with local stakeholders on renewable energy initiatives. Leslie earned a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental and Ecological Engineering with a focus on Water Resources Engineering from Purdue University in 2016.
