Liana Kruse has extensive work experience in the education sector. Liana started their career in 1996 as an Elementary School Teacher in Alvord Unified School District, where they worked until 2006. During this time, they also served in various leadership roles such as Grade level leader, Administrative designee, and Project Specialist/Academic Coach. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Middle School Assistant Principal in the same district before being promoted to Principal from 2012 to 2014. Following this, they served as an Assistant Principal from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they moved to NEW HAVEN UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, where they worked as an Assistant Principal until 2017. Currently, Liana Kruse is employed by Lake Elsinore Unified School District, where they started as an Assistant Principal in 2017 and was later promoted to the position of Elementary School Principal in July 2021.
Liana Kruse completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development and Child Development from California State University-San Bernardino from 1992 to 1998. Liana then pursued their Master of Science degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction from National University from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, Liana obtained a National Certification in Early Childhood Generalist.
