Dr. Dot Collins is an accomplished academic and sports professional, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Lake Erie College since August 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Assistant and Doctoral Student at the University of South Carolina, as well as various coaching and administrative positions within swimming and sports organizations, including Head Swim Lesson Instructor at the KATIE & IRWIN KAHN JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER and Head Age Group Coach at THE PRINCE WILLIAM SWIM CLUB INC. Dr. Collins has also contributed as a Sports Columnist for the Washington Running Report and held a marketing role at FYI - For Your Information, Inc. Educational credentials encompass a Doctor of Philosophy in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Science in Sport Management from Old Dominion University, and dual Bachelor of Arts in English and Religious Studies from Southwest Minnesota State University and Lawrence University, respectively.
