Richard D Carlson has extensive experience in aquatic safety and law enforcement, currently serving as an Aquatic Safety and Rescue Training Consultant at R.D. Carlson & Associates since January 2012. Carlson has held multiple roles at Lake Mohawk Country Club since May 1999, including Senior Marine Safety Officer and Waterfront Director, managing a large team responsible for marine safety operations across three lakes. In addition, Carlson has been an Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross since January 1987 and served as the Swim Coach at Pope John XXIII High School from November 1994 to March 2018. Prior law enforcement experience includes a tenure as Police Lieutenant at the Leonia Police Department from September 1984 to July 2010, focusing on policy development and training.
