Ashley Aminian

Ashley Aminian is an experienced educator and professor currently serving at Lake Tahoe Unified School District and Lake Tahoe Community College since August 2019. In these roles, Ashley has led significant projects to enhance reading capabilities and modernize educational programs, including the Senior Capstone Project, which involved digitizing a 29-year legacy program. Prior experience includes positions as a student teacher, AVID tutor, substitute teacher, and teaching assistant within the same school district, as well as a student instructor at California State University, Northridge. Ashley holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California and a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from California State University, Northridge, along with a Bachelor's degree in English, Psychology, and Film. A strong background in communication and collaboration is evident through the facilitation of student learning objectives and engagement initiatives.
