Chris Glover has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Chris began their career at Trent University, where they served as a Student Don and later held positions as a Campus Recreation and Facility Coordinator Assistant, Introductory Seminar Week (Orientation) Coordinator, and Project Development Officer. Chris then became involved in student leadership, serving as the Vice President of Membership Services and later as the President of the Trent Central Student Association.

In 2007, Chris moved to Bishop's University, where they worked as a Residence Life Coordinator. After that, they returned to Trent University as a Coordinator for Student Transitions and later as a Campus Programs Coordinator, where they were elected as the staff representative on the Trent University Board of Governors.

In 2011, Chris joined Dalhousie University as the Manager of Student Leadership and later as the Associate Director of the Career & Leadership Development Centre, where they developed and implemented strategic plans, managed budgets, and fostered partnerships with various university departments and community groups.

Currently, Chris is working at Lakehead University, starting in 2015 as the Director of Student Affairs at the Orillia Campus. Chris has since held multiple positions, including Acting Associate Vice President and Interim Associate Vice President of Administration. In these roles, they provided leadership and supervision to employees, designed strategic plans, and advised the Campus Principal on various matters.

Earlier in 2001, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography at Trent University. Chris's educational journey began with a High School Diploma from Trenton High School, which was earned between 1996 and 2001. Additionally, Chris has obtained several certifications including Anti-racism in Coaching, Creating a Campus Community Free of Sexual Violence, True Sport Clean, Understanding Competition Manipulation, Hay Job Evaluation Training, Campus Cultures of Consent Course, Mental Health First Aid, Career Educator Certificate, Administrator Training Program, and OACUHO Training Institute.
