Iris Cheang-Deis

Iris Cheang-Deis is an experienced professional with a diverse background in data analysis, database management, and laboratory techniques. Currently serving as the Data Analyst Team Lead at JerseySTEM and the Database Management Lead at Mental Health Copilots since June 2023, Iris also holds the position of Lab Technician at Lakeland College since August 2017. As the Founder of Rainforest of the North, Iris demonstrates entrepreneurial skills while continuing to contribute as a Tutor at Lloydminster Tutoring Services, a role maintained since August 2011. With prior experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan and as the Owner of Iris K9 Services, Iris has displayed leadership as the Store Manager at PetSmart and Head Guard at Wainwright Communiplex Pool. Iris also served as the President Mentor for the Toronto University Biotechnology Society, facilitating connections between students and the biotech field. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Saskatchewan (2020-2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Ecology from the University of Toronto (2009-2013).
