Laith Mahdi Do, Dabfm, Ccfp

Laith Mahdi, DO, DABFM, CCFP, currently serves as an Affiliate Associate Professor of Family Medicine and EM Preceptor at Lakes Regional Healthcare with Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine since September 2023. With extensive experience as an ER Physician at Lakes Regional Healthcare since August 2022 and prior roles as a Family Physician and Emergency Physician in self-employment, Laith has demonstrated a strong commitment to both primary and emergency care. Laith also held significant positions such as Chief of Staff and Medical Director at Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center and has contributed to medical education as an Adjunct Faculty member at Rocky Mountain College and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto. Laith earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from York University.
