Edward Woody, FACHE has a diverse and extensive work experience. Edward served as the Chief Operating Officer at Lakeside Behavioral Health System. Prior to that, they were the Associate Medical Center Director/COO at VETERANS HEALTH CARE SYSTEM OF THE OZARKS. Edward also worked as a Healthcare Executive at Reconstituting and as the Chief Executive Officer at Post Acute Medical. Edward has held various roles at U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including Vice President of Operations and Interim Chief Operating Officer. Edward Woody also gained experience at DaVita Kidney Care as the Regional Director of Operations. Additionally, they worked for UT Medical Group, Inc. as the Director of Operations. Earlier in their career, they served in the US Army in different roles, such as Chief, Management Division and Chief Financial Officer.
Edward Woody, FACHE, obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from The University of Memphis, which they attended from 1982 to 1987. Edward later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management from Webster University, completing their degree from 1995 to 1997. In 2020, they began their Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change at Baylor University, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Prior to their higher education, Edward attended Mitchell High School. Alongside their formal education, Edward has also obtained several certifications. Edward became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) in January 2018. In addition, they completed the SHERPA Executive Coaching program at The University of Georgia in March 2023, and earned certifications in Connecting with Executives and Consulting Foundations from LinkedIn in June 2019.
