Maarten van Cleef

Maarten Van Cleef is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Country Manager for Laketricity in Italy since October 2021, Maarten leads a team focused on developing floating solar plants. Additionally, as Head of Sales for Ciel et Terre International, Maarten oversees the marketing and sales of floating PV equipment. Maarten also founded and manages AGEVE, an energy consultancy firm, and has held various leadership positions in business development across multiple companies, including Debbas Group, ElectraTherm, and United Solar Ovonic. With a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Utrecht University and a strong background in solar technology, Maarten has successfully generated significant sales and developed strategic partnerships throughout Europe.
