Jacob Komperda

Jacob Komperda is an experienced architectural designer currently employed at Lakewood Construction since June 2021. Prior to this role, Jacob served as a BIM Technician at Midwest Structure Engineering, Inc., where responsibilities included creating construction documents and integrating reinforcing into precast products using Revit. Jacob also gained valuable experience as a Digital Fabrication Lab Graduate Assistant and Assistant at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, overseeing lab operations and assisting students with fabrication projects. Previous positions include supervisory roles at Aurelio's Pizza Franchise and McDonald's, and a groundskeeping position with the City of Morris. Jacob holds a Master's degree in Architecture and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Southern Illinois University, alongside an Associate of Science degree from Joliet Junior College.
