James Dean

James Dean has extensive experience in water utility management, currently serving as Operations and Maintenance Manager at Lakewood Water District since October 2023. Prior to this role, James Dean worked at the City of Yakima from August 1997 to September 2023, holding various positions including Utility Services Manager, Water Distribution Supervisor, and Water Distribution Crew Leader. Responsibilities included supervising teams, overseeing the Cross Connection Control/Backflow assembly Testing program, and managing potable water distribution operations. James Dean began career experience at Yakima Housing Authority as Maintenance Crew Leader/Supervisor from January 1994 to January 1997, where duties involved supervising maintenance and construction of low-income housing. James Dean is an alumnus of Yakima Valley Community College and Grandview High School.
