Inga Lára Stefánsdóttir

Inga Lára Stefánsdóttir has worked in the electrical engineering field since 2018. In 2018, they were a Summer Intern at Landsvirkjun. In 2019, they were a Summer Intern at Orkuvirki. In 2020, they took on the role of Electrical Specialist at Orkuvirki, where they were responsible for designing electrical installations at low, medium and high voltage, programming control and protection systems in secondary electrical substations, and testing low and medium voltage cubicles. In 2022, they began working at Laki Power as the Head of Research and Analytics and a Power System Engineer.

Inga Lára Stefánsdóttir began their educational journey in 2013 at Menntaskólinn í Reykjavík, where they studied Natural Sciences. Inga Lára then moved on to Háskóli Íslands from 2017 to 2020, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Electrical- and Computer Engineering. In 2019, they attended Uppsala University, but did not receive a degree. Inga Lára is currently enrolled at UCL, where they are pursuing their Master of Science in Power Systems Engineering, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
