Mario Martinez has a strong background in sales and business development within the out-of-home media industry. Mario started their career in 1992 as an Account Executive at Gannett Outdoor Group and worked there until 1997. In 1997, they joined Lamar Advertising as a Sales Manager, where they were responsible for managing a team of six sales executives and overseeing a sales budget of $12 million per year. From 2003 to 2015, Mario held various roles at Lamar Advertising, including National Sales Executive and National Director of Business Development. In these positions, they successfully opened new sales offices, developed new business in multiple cities, and significantly increased revenue. Mario currently works at Lamar Advertising's Chicago office, where they focus on servicing existing clients, prospecting for new business, and exporting business to other Lamar markets.
Mario Martinez attended Western Colorado University from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing.
