Jillian Thinguri

Jillian Thinguri has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jillian began their career as a Channel Merchandiser at Margins Limited Group in 2008. Jillian then moved on to work as a Marketing Specialist at ASUS Technology Pte. Ltd. from 2013 to 2016, where they were responsible for managing channels, formulating marketing activities, and developing pricing strategies. Jillian then took on the role of Head of Growth at EXPOLINK HUB EAST AFRICA from 2016 to 2019, where they oversaw the building of FMCG brands, from product identification to in-market placement. In 2019, they joined Uber as a Restaurant Growth and Partnerships specialist, where they focused on solving mobility issues in Africa and building exceptional teams. Currently, Jillian is working as the Business Director for Lami, taking charge of East and West Africa.

Jillian Thinguri pursued their education at The Catholic University of Eastern Africa from 2008 to 2012. Jillian obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Social Communication. In April 2021, they also obtained a certification in "Thinking In New Boxes: A New Paradigm for Business Creativity" from LinkedIn.
