Patricia Rosenberg

Patricia Rosenberg, CPA, CIA has extensive work experience in various roles. Patricia most recently served as the Finance Director at Land of Sky Regional Council starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Strauss Attorneys PLLC as an Accounting Manager/Controller from October 2021 to August 2022. From 2014 to 2021, Patricia worked as an Internal Auditor at the City of Asheville. Patricia also worked as an Assurance Associate at McGladrey from 2012 to 2014. Patricia's earlier experiences include working as a Graduate Assistant for the Accounting Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2010 to 2012, as well as various roles at the Chicago Bears Football Club, Chicago Sky, and Bates & Carey LLP.

Patricia Rosenberg, CPA, CIA holds a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Sport Management at Loyola University Chicago from 2005 to 2007. Patricia's undergraduate studies took place at Washington University in St. Louis, where they focused on Political Science and Government from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications, including a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2019, a COSO Internal Control Certificate from AICPA in 2017, and a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners in 2016.
