David Whiting

David is a Melbourne based partner in the Compensation Law group and is the relationship partner for WorkSafe Victoria. David practises in the area of work-related personal injury claims in both common law and statutory benefit disputes.

David has acted for self-insurers, defendants in industrial, motor vehicle accident and public liability common law actions, and product liability and professional indemnity insurers. He has worked with insurance scheme regulators to develop and implement policy and regularly presents legislation and case law update seminars to insurer clients and their insureds.
