Austin Gigi has a diverse range of work experience. Austin started as an Intern at South China Morning Post SCMP in 2016, where they worked as a Junior Reporter for the Young Post Division. Austin wrote feature articles and conducted investigations and research for feature stories.

In 2016, they also worked as the Youth Director at Support! International Foundation.

In 2017, Austin interned at Wallem Maritime Services Inc., where they utilized company software for crew personnel evaluation and analysis. Austin also analyzed company performance datasets using Excel.

During the same year, Austin took on the role of Advocate at Kids4Kids, where they organized conferences and fundraising events for educational opportunities for students in need. Austin also served as the Operations Manager at the 24 Hour Race, a student-led nonprofit organization, where they managed operations, budget coordination, and communication within the local community.

In 2020, Austin interned at Happyer.io as a Business Development and Partnerships Intern. Austin led a team of interns, conducted market research, and performed an internal SWOT review of the organization.

In 2021, Austin worked as a Business Development Intern at Earth.Org, where they wrote data-journalism driven articles and conducted market research for potential collaborations and sponsorships. Austin also developed sponsorship proposals and strategies.

In 2022, Austin worked as a Data Consultant Intern at NWF Strategies. Austin conducted data analysis, demographic and market research, and prepared strategic advice on marketing campaigns.

Most recently, Austin joined LandGate as a Product Analyst in 2023.

Austin Gigi completed their primary and secondary education from 2012 to 2019 at The South Island School, where they obtained their IGCSE and IB. Austin then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics from UCLA, which they are expected to complete between 2019 and 2023.
