David D.

David D. is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in embedded software development, AI, and machine learning applications. Currently serving as the Global Technology & Innovation Director at Landis+Gyr since February 2011, David leads the identification and evaluation of grid edge technologies for smart energy management. Previous roles include Principal Engineer in innovation, Founder of Rival Electronics, Senior Software Architect at Nokia, and Embedded Software Architect at Panasonic Wireless and Scientific Atlanta, among others. David holds a PhD in Computer Science and a Master’s in Computer Engineering from Michigan State University, along with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
