Katja Englert

Katja Englert is an experienced social worker and educator with a diverse background in various roles related to youth social work and experiential education. Currently serving as a Sozialpädagogin at AWO Bezirksverband Unterfranken e.V. since March 2021 and a Jugendsozialarbeiterin at Landratsamt Miltenberg since September 2020, Katja has also been involved as a Freier Mitarbeiter with Schullandheimwerk Unterfranken E.V. from May 2010 to September 2022, focusing on experiential education. Katja has previously worked as a self-employed instructor in fitness, relaxation, team training, wilderness, and experiential education from March 2006 to December 2021, and held a leadership position as an Erzieherin in the Offene Ganztagsschule at a Mittelschule from September 2017 to April 2020. Katja holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work obtained from CVJM-Hochschule Kassel between 2016 and 2020 and has specialized training as a Wilderness and Experiential Educator from the same institution between 2017 and 2019.
