Process Development Scientist at Landmark Bio

Meytal Haviv has a diverse range of work experience in the field of science and research. Meytal began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, where they worked from June 2012 to June 2014. In 2013, they joined the Hadassa Medical centers at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem as a Research Graduate Supervisor, where they supervised undergraduates and interns with their research projects focused on small RNA regulators in E. Coli and S.

In 2016, Meytal joined SBH Sciences, where they held two roles. As a Bioassay Team Leader from April 2016 to September 2018, they led a group in the development and validation of cell-based assays for cytokines, conducted in vitro cytotoxicity testing using cancer cell lines, and performed receptor-based binding assays and Anti-Drug Antibody assays. From September 2018 to January 2022, they served as a Project Manager and Research and Discovery Scientist, managing a gene therapy project and growing and maintaining 3-D intestinal organoids from various species.

In 2022, Meytal worked as a Quality Control Specialist at Agenus for a period of five months, from January to May. Currently, they are an Associate Scientist in the Process Development division at Landmark Bio, starting from January 2023.

Meytal Haviv completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Medical Lab Science at Hadassah Academic College from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Microbiology and Molecular genetics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2013 to 2016.
