Mike Charbonneau has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Mike started their career as a Production Artist at Echo Advertising in 1994 and then worked as an Art Director at Publicis Advertising in 1996. Mike also freelanced at Dentsu in 1997 before joining One On One Communications in 1998, where they served as a Co-Creative Director, Art Director, and Partner. At One On One Communications, they led teams to deliver creative campaigns for B2B and B2C clients.
In 2006, Mike volunteered at Revue Cinema as the Director of Marketing and Board Member, where they played a crucial role in developing the cinema's brand identity, coordinating marketing efforts, and implementing innovative programs.
In 2012, they volunteered as the Marketing & Communications Manager at Toronto High Park FC. Following that, in 2013, they joined Landmark Cinemas Canada as the Director of Creative Content and Marketing, where they are responsible for overseeing the creative content and marketing strategies for the company.
Mike also has their own photography business, called Mike Charbonneau Photography, which they have been running since 2007. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in brand development, creative direction, project management, and delivering results-oriented campaigns.
Mike Charbonneau earned an Honours degree in Creative Advertising from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 1991 to 1993. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate in 50 Years of Hitchcock from Ball State University.
