Steve Nielsen

Steve Nielsen has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Steve is currently the Executive Vice President & General Counsel at Landus since October 2020, and previously held the role of General Counsel starting from April 2020. Before joining Landus, they ran their own law firm, Nielsen Law Office, PLLC, as an Attorney At Law from May 2019 to April 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Risk Management Services at Nationwide Agribusiness Insurance Company from January 2018 to April 2019. Steve also worked as the General Counsel at United Suppliers, Inc. from October 2010 to October 2017. Steve's earlier career includes working as an Attorney at various law firms, specifically at SKINNER & NIELSEN, P.L.C., from June 1991 to October 2010.

Steve Nielsen received their Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Iowa, where they studied from 1985 to 1988. Steve then attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School from 1988 to 1991, earning a Juris Doctorate. In December 1991, they obtained a license to practice law in the United States District Court, Southern District of Iowa. Additionally, in June 1991, they obtained a license to practice law in Iowa from the Iowa Supreme Court. Steve is also a member in good standing with The Iowa State Bar Association.
