Brena Geraldes

Brena Geraldes is an experienced teacher of Portuguese language and culture, currently working at Language Services Direct since April 2022 and at Portuguese Global - International Academy of Portuguese since October 2023. Previous roles include teaching at Professional Language Solutions, the British Embassy in Lisbon, and various language institutes, with extensive experience in corporate teaching for organizations such as FCDO, HMRC, and National Crime Agency. Brena holds a University Degree in Portuguese Language and Culture from Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, a Master's degree and a PhD in Post-colonial Portuguese literature from Universidade da Beira Interior, and a Pedagogical competence certification from the Professional Job and Training Institute of Portugal, along with a Cambridge B2 First English qualification.
