Mohammad Faiq

Mohammad Faiq is a seasoned language specialist with over 15 years of experience in Afghan politics, culture, and communication, currently serving as a freelance translator and interpreter of Pashto and Urdu at Language Services Direct since March 2009. Faiq has also worked as a cultural advisor, emphasizing the significance of Afghan cultural practices. Previous roles include teaching Pashto and Urdu at the Modern Languages Centre at King's College London and imparting knowledge of Afghan culture and languages at Capita Education Resource. Faiq's educational background includes a Masters in Pashto Language and Literature from Peshawar University and a Diploma in Teaching in Lifelong Learning from Milton Keynes Language College, among other qualifications in education and special needs.
