Lies D'Hondt

Lies D'hondt currently serves as Adjunct-uitgever and Acquirerend redacteur at Uitgeverij Lannoo since August 2021. Prior experience includes positions as Rights Manager at Hachette UK from May 2019 to July 2021, Senior Rights Executive at Egmont Publishing UK from October 2017 to May 2019, and Foreign Rights Executive along with UK Sales Executive at HarperCollins Publishers from October 2015 to October 2017. Lies began the professional journey with a Legal Affairs & Public Policy Internship at the European Newspaper Publishers' Association in early 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Media Culture from Maastricht University (2014-2015), an Advanced Master of Intellectual Property and ICT Law (LL.M.) from KU Leuven (2013-2014), and a Master of Laws from KU Leuven (2011-2013). Additionally, studies were conducted at Turun yliopisto - University of Turku from 2012 to 2013.
