Jenny Joutsen

Jenny Joutsen is a specialized Medical Cell Biologist with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving at Lapin hyvinvointialue since June 2020, Jenny also holds the position of Editor in Chief at Solubiologi since September 2018. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at Åbo Akademi from July 2018 to June 2020 and a PhD Student at Turku Centre for Biotechnology from 2011 to 2018, where academic training also included a research trainee position at the same center from 2009 to 2010. Jenny Joutsen earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell Biology from Åbo Akademi University and a Master of Science in Animal Physiology and Genetics from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku.
