Janne Mönkkönen

Janne Matilainen is an accomplished Creative Director and Co-Founder with extensive experience in the digital and gaming industries. Currently serving as Creative Director at PiKL Worldwide since May 2023, Janne previously held the position of Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Gigle, which modernizes live performance management through a white-label SaaS product. From 2008 to 2015, Janne was Creative Director at Playforia Inc., where successful games achieved over one million monthly active users. As Co-Founder and Creative Director at Apaja Creative Solutions from 2001 to 2008, Janne contributed to the establishment of Aapeli, a leading online game service in Finland. Earlier, as Art Director at Saunalahti Oyj, Janne played a pivotal role in developing one of Finland's most popular websites and creating early mobile phone graphics. Janne Matilainen holds a degree from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
