Dr. Wilma Kauke

Dr. Wilma Kauke has extensive work experience in various HR roles. Dr. Wilma is currently the Global HR Director & Chief People Officer at Lapp Group since January 2023. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Global Human Resources at Bosch Automotive Steering from January 2020 to January 2023, where they had international responsibility for approximately 12,000 associates worldwide. Dr. Wilma also held the position of Vice President Stuttgart-Feuerbach from April 2017 to December 2019, and before that, they were an Assistant to the Management and HR Director at Bosch. Dr. Kauke also worked as an HR Expert in Bosch Japan, HR Project Manager, and HR Generalist within the company from 2002 to 2011. Dr. Wilma also has teaching experience as a Dozent at the University of Leipzig and the University of Copenhagen.

Dr. Wilma Kauke pursued their education at Leipzig University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Germanistik und Hispanistik from 1991 to 1997. During their time at Leipzig, they also earned a Licentiate degree in Deutsch als Fremdsprache from 1997 to 1999. Additionally, they studied at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1994 and 1995, where they obtained a Zertifikat in Hispanische und lateinamerikanische Sprachen, Literaturen und Linguistik, allgemein. Dr. Kauke further expanded their academic qualifications at Leipzig University by completing their doctoral studies from 1998 to 2001, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Germanistik.
