Wendy McGuinness

Wendy McGuinness is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in inclusion, diversity, and learning and development. Currently enjoying early retirement from L'Arche USA, Wendy contributed to fostering inclusive communities for individuals with learning disabilities. Previously, Wendy served at Lloyds Banking Group from 1993 to 2020, holding various managerial roles, including Responsible Business and Inclusion Capability Manager, where the focus was on enhancing organisational culture through awareness and education on diversity. Wendy developed group-wide programmes and resources to support key strategic objectives, particularly in leadership diversity. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Counsellor at AIDS Helpline and as a Manager at Capers Restaurant. Wendy earned a BA Hons in French and English from Queen's University Belfast.
