Obed Peña

Obed Peña is an experienced educator and graphic design professional currently serving as a CTE Teacher at Laredo ISD, focusing on Graphic Design, Audio/Video Production, and Photography since October 2022. In addition, Obed Peña has taken on the role of Assistant Boys Soccer Coach at Dr. Leo Cigarroa High School since August 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Graphic Web & Social Media Specialist at Laredo Community College from February 2018 to November 2022, and as a Graphic Designer Marketing Assistant at Palafox Hospitality, Ltd. dba La Posada Hotel from February 2016 to November 2017. Furthermore, Obed Peña contributed as a Webmaster & Graphic Designer at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2015. Obed Peña holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Technology from the same institution, expected to be completed in June 2024.
