Sami Arpa

Sami Arpa has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Sami co-founded Largo in 2018, where they currently serve as the CEO. From 2015, they have been involved with the Ouchy Film Awards as a Director. Sami worked as a Doctoral Assistant at EPFL from 2013 to 2018. In 2012, they co-founded 3dios and also worked as a Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2012, they held various roles at Bilkent University, including Research Assistant in the field of Perceptually Aware 3D Computer Graphics and MS Student. Sami also worked as a Research Assistant on a project related to 3D Imaging Phone.

Sami Arpa began their education at Malatya Fen Lisesi from 2001 to 2005. Sami then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering at Bilkent University from 2005 to 2010. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Graphics from Bilkent University from 2010 to 2012. Arpa furthered their education by attending EPFL (\u00c9cole polytechnique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne), where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, in December 2018, they obtained the IMD - Start-up Award from IMD Business School.
