Cheryl Mejia

Cheryl Mejia, D.O., M.Sci. is a Senior Resident Physician of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Larkin Community Hospital, where Cheryl is part of the inaugural graduating class of the PM&R residency. Prior experience includes serving as Dr. at National Spine & Pain Centers, managing 32 patients daily, and as Team Physician for Hydroblades, focusing on injury prevention and performance optimization for 387 paddlers. Cheryl has also held leadership roles, including Past Chief Resident Physician of a PM&R program at Nova Southeastern University, and has gained extensive medical experience through various internships and medical student placements. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Osteopathy from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Sports Medicine from California State University - East Bay.
