Irfan Zaidi

Irfan Zaidi is a Principal Scientist in vaccines at Laronde since December 2022, with extensive experience in immunology and vaccinology. Previously, Irfan Zaidi served as a Senior Scientist at Medical Science & Computing while contracting at the Laboratory for Malaria Immunology and Vaccinology since June 2018, and held the position of Research Fellow at the Laboratory for Malaria Vaccinology and Immunology, NIH from November 2016 to June 2018. Irfan Zaidi's earlier roles include a Postdoctoral Scholar at NIAID, a Senior Scientific Officer and Higher Scientific Officer at MRC in the Gambia, and an Instructor at Aga Khan University. The educational background includes a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from The Open University, an MSc in Applied Molecular Microbiology from the University of Nottingham, and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
