Nikhil Karthik

Nikhil Karthik is an accomplished Associate Scientist currently working at Early Stage Biotechnology since February 2024, with previous experience as an Associate Scientist at Sail Biomedicines and as a Senior Research Associate at LogicBio Therapeutics. At LogicBio Therapeutics, key contributions included molecular and cell-based assay development and supporting an Investigational New Drug (IND) filing by generating bioanalytical data. Nikhil also served as a Graduate Office Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, aiding course coordination and lab training for Master's students in medical biotechnology. Nikhil began the career as a Summer Research Trainee at Azyme Biosciences, focusing on recombinant DNA technology. Nikhil holds a Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering in India.
