James Shaffer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. James currently serves as the Vice President at Larrett Energy Services, Inc. since February 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Risk Management at the same company from November 2019 to February 2022. Previously, they worked as the CFO at Central Millwork LLC from March 2018 to November 2019. James also held the position of Executive Vice President at Employee Money Solutions from August 2016 to March 2018. Before that, James was the CEO of Cimarron Underground, Inc. from February 2014 to July 2016. Their extensive experience in the industry includes a significant tenure at Driver Pipeline, where they started as the Director of Risk Management in December 2002 and eventually became the President & CEO, leading the company to significant growth. Prior to that, they were the Vice President and CIO at StatesRail, where they played a key role in its rapid expansion before selling the entire portfolio. James started their career at Kiamichi Railroad, initially as the VP of Administration and eventually becoming the President, overseeing the successful growth of the company.
James Shaffer earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from Penn State University in 1985. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Agricultural Business from Penn State University in 1980. James holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Case Western Reserve University, which they completed between 1985 and 1987. Their education journey began at Shikellamy High School before attending college.
