As the company’s sales and marketing leader, Judy knows how to inspire the team to discover their voice and thrive as part of the LBA family. It is a natural ability born of her close-knit family of seven in small-town Iowa, unleashed as captain of her high school cheerleading squad, and honed to perfection over more than 30 years in hospitality.
Judy entered the hospitality industry as a PBX operator at the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, Colorado, quickly learning the importance of being the guests first impression. Serving many roles in operations, she advanced her career to accept a position that led to 22 years of service with Hilton Worldwide. Judy joined LBA Hospitality in April of 2014, drawn by the company’s family environment and clear commitment to developing its people.
Now happily leading LBA’s Sales, Marketing and eCommerce efforts, she oversees sales initiatives and strategies for the company, leads the efforts for digital marketing programs and collaborates with revenue management and operations teams to increase market share. Through those programs, she works to build brand loyalty and develop new ideas and strategies to ensure top market performance for each property. Judy believes the success of those initiatives hinges on the full engagement of every member of the team – from the sales leaders to front desk and room attendants, from general managers to maintenance – and empowering them to foster strong relationships with guests, businesses and communities.
