Coming from a background in automotive sales, Kevin uses his training and resources provided to him by LBA to maintain a focus on associate engagement, ultimately providing an unmatched customer experience.
While attending college in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Kevin began his career in automobile sales where he learned the various aspects of selling including e-commerce and online internet sales. After relocating with his family, he took advantage of Internet Director opportunities with dealerships in St. Petersburg/Clearwater, Florida and eventually Dothan, Alabama. His experience in automotive sales made his transition into hospitality quite simple, as there are similarities in taking care of customer needs.
Kevin joined the LBA team in 2010 managing Courtyard by Marriott in Dothan. On-boarding during the transition to a Bistro allowed him the unique opportunity to grow and learn at a rapid pace, eventually allowing him to lead his own hotels—Fairfield Inn and then Hampton Inn & Suites Dothan. It was in this role that he earned the honor of General Manager of LBA Hotel of the Year in 2013. When an opportunity as Regional Director of Revenue opened up, Kevin was able to transition into that role and oversee revenue generation strategies for a portfolio of 12 LBA managed hotels. He served in that role for three years before taking the position as Regional Director of Operations. As Regional Director of Operations, Kevin oversaw Marriott, Hilton and IHG Hotels primarily in Florida and Georgia. Kevin served in the operations role for 2 1/2 years and executed sales and revenue strategies to provide owners with above-average returns while ensuring fiscal responsibility. As a Certified Revenue Management Executive(CRME) Kevin’s passion lies in Revenue Management. After serving as Regional Director of Operations he has return to his previous role at Regional Director of Revenue Management and serves a portfolio of 10+ hotels.
