Tomas Rubacek, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tomas began their career as a professional athlete in volleyball from 1998 to 2006. Tomas then ventured into the business world, starting their own company called Togas reality s.r.o. from 2006 to 2008. Rubacek worked as a Commercial Sales Representative at Dřevozpracující družstvo Lukavec from 2008 to 2010. Tomas then moved on to join Less a.s. as Deputy Sales Director from 2011 to 2013. From 2014 to 2016, Rubacek served as the Deputy Sales Director and later as the Plant Manager at Wotan Forest a.s. In 2016, they took on the role of Plant Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors at LIRA obrazové lišty a rámy a.s., Larson Juhl a Berkshire Hathaway Company. Rubacek's most recent positions include Managing Director at Larson-Juhl since May 2016, Geschäftsführer since October 2021, and Operations Director Europe since January 2021.
Tomas Rubacek completed their education in a chronological order. Tomas obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Economic Administration Services from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in General Management from the University of New York in Prague, from 2017 to 2019.
In addition to their formal education, Tomas Rubacek also obtained several certifications. In January 2017, they received the Kaizen Improver certification from the Kaizen Institute Western Europe. Later, in September 2018, they achieved the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the ICG Integrated Consulting Group. Lastly, in February 2020, they acquired the Change Management certification from ICG-Capability s.r.o.
