Demaree Donaghu specializes in public affairs and public relations. She has worked on issues ranging from clean energy to immigration and for auto and insurance industries.
Demaree’s experience as a field organizer for the Obama presidential campaign in 2012 provided her with the skills to quickly adapt to client needs in a variety of sectors. Demaree served as a legislative assistant in the Iowa Senate, working specifically on economic development issues as well as managing communications and outreach. Prior to her time as a legislative aide, she interned with the Iowa Senate Democratic Communications staff where she managed both media relations and visual and written communication for the 50 member caucus.
Demaree remains active in Democratic politics in Iowa, and was named the 2013 DAWN’s List Rising Star.
Demaree graduated from the University of Iowa, receiving a Bachelor of Science in political science with a minor in history.
