Kayla Im, BSN, RN, currently serves as a Registered Nurse at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York® since November 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Registered Nurse at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, where assessment and monitoring of patients recovering from orthopedic procedures were performed. Additional responsibilities included managing PEGs, ostomies, central lines, wound vacs, and medication administration. Prior to this, Kayla gained experience as a Nurse Extern with the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group, providing home care assistance, and as a Dental Assistant at Park Orthodontics, where support was offered in clinical procedures. Earlier roles also included functioning as a Medical Assistant at Sun Medical P.C., performing various tests and ensuring sanitary conditions. Kayla Im earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in 2020.
