Florian Blobner

Florian Blobner has extensive work experience in the photonics and opto-electronics industries. Currently, they serve as the Chief Product Officer at LASER COMPONENTS, where they are responsible for the strategic development of the global product portfolio and managing the IP portfolio of the company. Florian is also actively seeking investment opportunities in the photonics industry. Prior to this role, Florian worked at First Sensor as the Sales Director for the D/A/CH region and other European countries, as well as the Director of Product Management for Standard Sensors. Florian has also held positions at Hamamatsu as a Sales Group Coordinator and Sales Engineer Biomedical, and at Technische Universität München as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Researcher PHD Student. Florian's early career included a role as an Associate Scientist at Alameda Applied Sciences Co. Throughout their career, Florian has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the industry.

Florian Blobner pursued their education in Physics from the Technical University of Munich. Florian obtained their Bachelor's degree, Dipl.-Phys, from 2003 to 2008. Later, they proceeded to earn their Ph.D., Doktor, in Physics from the same university during the period of 2009 to 2013.
