Domingo Tavárez

Domingo TAVÁREZ is an experienced professional with a strong background in information technology and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Representative for the Dominican Republic at ISOTools Excellence since April 2016 and as Chief Executive Officer at Astech RD since October 2012, TAVÁREZ specializes in consultancy services for digital transformation, management systems, process automation, and software development. Additionally, TAVÁREZ has been the Director of Information and Communication Technologies at FUNGLODE since August 2000 and represents Laserfiche for the Dominican Republic. Notably, TAVÁREZ is the Founder of the Presidential Office of Information and Communication Technologies (OPTIC), which contributed to the implementation of Electronic Government in the Dominican Republic. TAVÁREZ has also served on the Board of Directors for INDOTEL and as an advisor in information technology to the Executive Power. TAVÁREZ holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Barna Management School.
